We finally got a blog! Welcome!

Hi there! I've been looking for a good place to host our videos and pictures, and thought I'd give this one a try. Let me know what you think of it. We'll start off with some recent videos of our little Collin racing away on his skis. He "competed" in his first ski "race" a few weeks ago, a ski event run by the town for all kids 12 and under. They don't really race, but just have to complete a loop, shorter for the youngest kids, longer for the oldest kids. If they participate in at least two of the three, they get a nice little backpack and diploma. Almost 100 kids participated, but there were just four kids in his age class (determined by birth year). The course was about 2/3 of a mile long and he was the only one who didn't need to be carried or cut the loop short. We are, of course, so proud! His next big race is coming up on Tuesday night. (P.S.Update as of Wed the 7th...ski race was canceled due to the cold weather, it was only 3 degrees last night, too cold for all the little ones. Next race is in two weeks!)
