This year we were at the cabin, as usual, for Easter week. I read somewhere recently that Norwegians have the longest Easter vacation in the world. I'm starting to not be as suprised when I hear things like this, haha! The weather really made it noticable that Easter was so early this year since it was really, *really* cold. At night, temps were -25C (-15F) and during the day -15C to -17C, even in the sun (+1F to +5F). We were lucky the sun was shining every day and there was not very much wind. So we were really bundled up and didn't sit down as long as we usually did. But we always make sure we have time to make a fire and grill hotdogs and marshmallows and make coffee. :) Here's a glimpse of Easter 2008! (Which was much nicer weather-wise than 2007....if you're curious, the Easter 2007 videos are still here on the blog, go to 'Blog Archives' on the right side of this page and click on April.)

Easter videos and more...
Here's just a small peek at the kids doing something they could do for hours--throw rocks in the fjord! This is the same "beach" where we swim in the summer. Collin wanted to go down there one night after dinner, so we did!
