We're anxiously awaiting our next set of visitors who arrive in a little over a week (Mom, Dad, Aunt Cheryl, Aunt Sue and Uncle Roy.) And we're still waiting on summer, but they've said warmer temps will be coming our way on Tuesday. Let's hope that the summer weather sticks around for at least a few weeks this time.....
Now, onto some new videos:
Einar has been talking for months about taking Collin camping. After three cancellations (1.horrible weather, 2.suddenly being called away for fire-fighting and 3. a tragic accident within his company) they were finally able to go. With the canoe on top and the car packed, they left on Friday after work and headed up to the mountains just on the border to Sweden. Einar was afraid of having to fight off all of the mosquitos this time of year (one of the reasons why he was trying to go a few months ago) but there was enough breeze to keep them away. Collin was so excited about sleeping in the tent, and when asked, his favorite parts of the trip were fishing in the canoe and eating the fish they caught. Sorry Dad and Brad---as Einar has said before: here in Norway it's not called 'catch-and-release', it's called 'catch-and-eat'!
CIRCUS TIME!
The circus comes to Frosta every year. Bestefar Svein loves going, so he always volunteers to take the kids so that he has an excuse to be there. Justin got to go for the first time this year and was just hypnotized by it all; he sat and stared the whole time and didn't crack a smile until the elephants came out!
Warning to animal rights activists:
Viewer discretion is advised.
The following video may contain strong content (like elephants turning in circles) that is not advisable for animal rights activists (or people with elephant-phobia.)
hehe.
Hope everyone is having a great summer! (whatever weather that may be!)
Love,
Amy
