More videos from Spring

Here's a a few videos from April/May that I've been meaning to post. This one is from a day we went fishing down at Einar's uncle's cabin on the north side of Frosta. No, we didn't catch dinner. Hrmph. But the boys were smiling anyway.

On April 1st, Collin and I flew down to Oslo in order to renew his passport at the American Embassy, and also got theater tickets to Peter Pan. (To make a long story short: I booked the trip a few months ahead, and had already checked with the embassy and had been told that they would not be sending any reps to our area at this time of year. They ended up doing a consular visit to Trondheim 6 days before our trip--which they gave us notice of 5 days beforehand. So we took care of all of our passport renewal stuff locally in order to avoid the embassy in Oslo, which is one big security mess.) So it ended up being the world's most expensive trip to the theater, but I think I had as much fun as Collin did. We skipped all over downtown that day, and Peter Pan was fabulous, the cast, the set, the music...everything. Most fabulous of all was a day alone, just the two of us!

We went to a visit a friend of my sister in law's on Tautra, the island just off of Frosta together with the boys cousins. These are the fun, lazy kind of days that make me appreciate living in such a rural community. Check out Collin learning how to drive the tractor from his cousin Simen Marcello:

We got a brand new turf football/soccer field in town recently, so sometimes we head there for a few hours to run off some energy.
