Everyone knows that puddles have a magnetic effect on children!

There's a saying in Norway that "there's no such thing as bad weather, there is only bad clothing." And Norwegians kids prove that, as they are seldom inside, and allowed to be out in all types of weather. Collin and Justin are outside from 10am to 4:30pm every day at pre-school, regardless of wind, rain, sideways-blowing snow, anything. I'm thrilled about this, since I am definitely a weather-wimp next to these hardy Norwegians, and we're not outside that many hours on the days they are home. The positive thing about this saying is that there is an abundance of high-quality kid's outdoor gear, for any and every type of weather, and I know they stay dry and warm whether in rain gear or a gore-tex suit...That way, I don't feel guilty about letting them do this:
