This year, the kids got Norwegian-style Easter "baskets", which is a giant colorful egg filled with candy left at the foot of their bed while they are sleeping. Norwegians also like to cheat on this holiday as well, and celebrate on Easter Eve, not really on Easter day. (Just like celebrating and opening packages on Christmas Eve, not Christmas day.) But they love doing the Easter egg hunt, and were thrilled when I said I'd go out and hide the eggs in the snow. They had so much fun, they asked me to do it again.
(There are no skiing videos from Easter this time....I thought you guys might need a break from watching us wandering around on our two planks! )
