Collin turns 7!

Collin turned 7 on Feb. 25th, and had been crossing off the days on his calendar.  We had his party a week early since his real birthday fell during Winter Break (Spring Break, as anyone else closer to the equator might know it! haha)   We decided to have a costume party since his birthday was during the same time as Carnival. (Which is celebrated almost over the whole world besides the U.S., and the kids get to wear costumes to school, much like on Halloween, minus the trick or treating.  Click HERE for more info about Carnival.)
We went a little crazy and followed in the footsteps of many of his classmates, and invited all of the boys in the 1st grade, plus two of his good friends in the 2nd grade, so we were expecting 20 guests. 
So, yes: Twenty 7 and 8 year olds, in costume, already hyper before we even served anything with sugar in it, yes, call us crazy.  We also luckily followed in suit and set the party time to be 2 hours long, which might seem short for any of you reading this, but believe us, it was moooore than long enough if you were here in this house.  Collin had a great time, which is the most important thing, and here's a little video showing a few glimpses from the event.
